Panasonic VT50 3D Plasma TV

CES 2012Panasonic has always set the bar high when it comes to TV picture quality, though sometimes the design of its plasma screens has been more fuddy-duddy than fashionable. But the new models spotted at CES really do look sleek, with a single sheet glass front and thin metal bezel.

Image quality on the brand’s new 50-inch VT50 flagship is outstanding and its 3D performance is a wow. Taken online, the set can stream movies, catch up with BBC iPlayer or download apps from the VIERA Connect Market. Expect to see it in the UK around April.
